How to Cook Whole Grains
Cooking most grains is generally the same as it is for cooking dried beans:
1. Place the water (or vegetable stock) and the grains in a pot just
large enough to hold both.
2. Bring it to a boil, covered, and cook, still covered, over medium heat until the water is absorbed. The cooking time and amount of water needed for each grain vary, but here is a general guide for cooking times and yields for the grains.
